The Flaming Barrel is a traveling, one-hour interactive theatre show that transforms any convention space into a roaring fantasy tavern — complete with live performances, magical mischief, light snacks, and a heavy pour of chaotic comedy.
Inspired by the storytelling of Dungeons & Dragons, the wit of Monty Python, and the joyful absurdity of con culture, this show blends improv, immersive theatre, and fan-fueled fun into one unforgettable adventure. Guests are seated at tavern tables, where they’re welcomed as part of the world: adventurers, misfits, and maybe even key players in the unfolding mystery.

At The Flaming Barrel, we don’t just perform at you — we play with you. This is a fully interactive, fantasy tavern theatre experience driven by a cast of six professional actors and improvisers who bring the world to life with heart, humor, and heroic chaos.
Our ensemble is made up of seasoned performers with backgrounds in immersive theatre, improv comedy, live-action gaming, and fan-based storytelling. Together, they play a rotating cast of original characters — from ale-slinging bards and cursed warlocks to overly enthusiastic rogues and one very suspicious tavern keeper.
